DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Performs materials management auditing work including financial, compliance, and materials management audit projects.
•Reviews and keeps up to date materials management audit programs;
•Conducting risk assessment and recommending control measures on identified materials management control weaknesses;
•Investigates on the causes of pilferage losses, discrepancies on stocks;
•Verifies the accuracy of stock records, cards and bin cards;
•Reports and advises on application of laid down procedures on store keeping, stock controls and purchasing;
•Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures;
•Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgement concerning areas being reviewed;
•Assists in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management of audited units.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Materials Management from an accredited college or university;
•Holder of a recognised Professional certification as a PSPTB is a must;
•Professional certification as a CSP is a must;
•At least One years of full-time experience in materials management auditing and investigations.
